Yeah Julie! She was part of the team that participated in the annual Huggo’s Wahine Fishing Tournament in Kailua Kona on the Big Island. Julie tagged a blue marlin estimated at 250 lbs, just under the minimum of 300 lbs needed to weigh in. Although the tournament paid up to five places, her fish was the 6th tag recorded of the day. Unfortunately it was a slow day with no qualifying marlin so prizes were given based on time of tag and release.
