Eric, this is a great photo! Mahalo for the photo and for choosing Maggie Joe Sport Fishing! While Eric was reeling in a, now severed, ahi aboard the Sea Hawk on 2/8/11 a shark took a nice sized bite out of the fish. The photo is the end result.

Above is a great video of some fun winter time sport fishing aboard the Maggie Joe. It doesn’t get any better than deep sea fishing here in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii!

Ahi bitten by shark
The picture is somewhat blurry because it was taken at night, but that is an Ahi that has a good size chunk of flesh missing thanks to a shark.

Ahi on the back of the boat
Dane and Danielle Leadbetter caught this 162 lb Ahi with us on the Ruckus. This picture was taken right after they hauled their fish in on the back deck of the boat. We hope you enjoyed your Honolulu, Oahu sportfishing adventure with us here and can’t wait to see you guys again!
Also pictured below is a galapagos shark still on the line off the deck of the Ruckus. We enjoyed having the Saunders family with us for some shark fishing and Friday night fireworks.

Check out those teeth!

Galapagos Shark
The Ruckus has been hard at work in the evenings hunting sharks and has this wonderful image to show us what they have been up to. They caught this Galapagos shark, which they later returned to the water. Way to go guys!
