The largest fish ever caught on rod and reel, an 1805 lb. Pacific blue marlin, was caught right here in waters off Oahu on the boat "Coreene C", from Kewalo Basin.

The second largest fish ever caught out of Kewalo Basin is Maggie Joe's 1277 lb. Pacific blue marlin in October 1993.

Established in 1950, Inter-Island Sportfishing is the oldest and most experienced charter fishing business in Honolulu.

We have established an excellent reputation for providing our customers quality sportfishing adventures for over 55 years!

After three generations of fishing in Hawaiian waters and an annual success rate of 95% or better, we provide anglers the best opportunity in Honolulu to catch a trophy fish.

Contact us and you'll be dealing with people who fish the Pacific Ocean every day. Fishing is our life and our goal is for customers to enjoy it as much as we do! We invite you to stop by and visit, take a look at our boats and compare for yourself. You'll like what we have to offer!

Our boats are all air-conditioned and equipped with top of the line fishing gear and electronics. We perform dry dock maintenance annually to keep our fleet in prime condition.

At Kewalo Basin, there are currently fourteen boats available for charter. Use caution when checking "charter referral" services, some are not even here in the islands. They may not show all the charter services available in the area or recommend boats for reasons other than fishing success and quality services. They may also advertise higher prices and then offer discounts. Book directly with the source!
